Trip to Safari & Adventure Park Cebu: I know instead of I should have known! (Part 3)
I wanted to skip the gym today because of... Of course laziness!
My body was telling me to workout but my mind was telling me the opposite. I wanted some sort of motivation, so I just kept browsing online for some fitness quotes and I saw this...
"Your body can stand almost anything. It’s your mind that you have to convince"
It was like a slap on the face so, I got up and went to the the gym and started my workout on the treadmill.
I decided to maintain a 7 mph pace while jogging. For someone like me, who have ADD, it's hard to maintain my focus if there's a lot of distraction around or even if am just thinking too much.
So, I challenged my self to stay at that pace for at least ten minutes. I put on some good music, controlled my breathing and I focus.
I did it! Even went a little over ten minutes, little things like this makes me proud of myself.
I am good at motivating myself though, I just need to stay focus. 😀
I had steak for my post workout meal and I think I snack on some pistachios too much, so at around three in the afternoon, I went back to the gym and did some another cardio, some back workout and core workout. 😉
For dinner I had steak again and a salad. In reality though, that photo of the salad below is just for presentation, I don't like big slices of onions and tomatoes in my salad because they're hard to eat like that so I chopped them again in halves. 😂
That's it for my activities today. Let's get ready for that summer bod!
